Marketing your website can be a substantial way to increase your earnings if any online. You need to differentiate yourself from your competitors and make yourself aware to others. Here are some techniques on marketing your blog or website:

Google Adwords

Adwords is Google's Ad Network.  Users can sign up to advertise their site or blog to millions of users by either using PPC (Pay Per Click) or PPV (Pay Per View) options.  PPC means that you pay only when a user clicks on your advertisement and is directed to your website, while PPV is the amount of views your advertisement gets  (From experience PPC is the better option).

How it works...

You can make your own ads that are placed along side search results on web pages.   They appear like something to the right, which I am sure you have seen before:

Facebook

Facebook is another great marketing tool in which you can use the same principals of marketing with Google Adwords...except you can differentiate between age groups and even if they are male or female viewers.

How it works...

You make your own ads which are placed on the website and can either choose a PPC option or a PPV option to achieve maximum results with marketing your product or website.  Facebook has also become a popular way of affiliate marketing.
