Ways of making money online..!
OK, so you want to make money online...so where do you start!?
Firstly, there are a ton of online scams out there that claim that they can make you rich over night over a special newly found secret...which is completely and utterly a load of crap. Making honest money in any circumstance is always proven to be made through hard work and dedication. Here are just a few of the tips and tricks I have learned to make an honest buck online:
Google Adsense
Adsense is an advertising network that gives everyday people like you and me an option to make money online. You can even set your account up to send you a check or put your money directly into your back account once you reach the minimum withdrawl! ($100).
How it Works...
People who own websites have the opportunity to put Google Ads on their website. When people click these ads, the website owner gets a percentage of what the advertiser paid Google. You can put these ads on any website that has content (besides things that violate the Terms Of Service...), and you can make passive income online with only a little bit of marketing. Big sites like Neopets.com and PlentyOfFish.com make millions of dollars a year by simply placing Google Ads on their website in key places where people are known to click them.
Advanced Tips
Placing images next to ads is a sort of black-hat method that I have previously read about (black-hat = bending the rules. white-hat = not bending the rules at all). By placing images next to these ads it was shown that it will catch a user's eye more frequently and thus are more likley to click your ad and make you more money. I personally don't use this method as I do not want to violate the Google TOS and get my account banned. Supposedly this method does not violate the TOS... it is simply a method of working around it...however, use this method at your own discretion.
Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is one of the best and fastest ways of making money online, but it does require some research and skills devoted to finding keywords and making sure you are in the right niche.
How it works...
Using an affiliate marketing program like Clickbank (http://www.clickbank.com), users can sign up and promote other peoples products. Clickbank will give you your own link, and this link acts as a referral service. If you send a visitor to the product website that you are promoting, you will get a percentage of that sale.
The best possible combined system of working with Clickbank is by using Google Adwords (http://adwords.google.com). Adwords is a marketing program that everyday people like you and me or even mega-companies use to promote or advertise their products and services online. By using your Clickbank ID to promote products through Google Adwords, you can create a system that makes substantial income online if done right. In a nutshell, you put money into advertising, you get money back through the sales of the products you promote.
Selling Text Links
Another popular way of making some extra income online is by selling text links. For this method however you do need to have some traffic already going to your website. The more traffic that you get to your website, the higher you can charge per text link.
